Probably everyone knows Tiffany & Co. company founded in 1837. Luxury jewelry signed by the Tiffany brand are the object of desire all over the world, an icon of style and social position. We are all the more proud when they are delivered by... our carriage.

Tiffany's jewelers have been creating outstanding works of art for over a hundred years, and every American bride dreams of this company's engagement ring. Especially about Tiffany Solitaire, the most famous engagement ring in the world..

Just as legendary as Tiffany jewelry is a brand’s box in the color of thrush eggs, the so-called “Blue Box Tiffany”. The famous “Tiffany Blue” color, used on packaging, bags, in catalogs and advertisements, is a registered trademark. The ordered carriage had to be of course in this color.

The “Landauer” horse-drawn carriage was ordered in 2010 by the Paris branch of the Tiffany’s brand through our French dealer, Nord Attelage company.

The carriage was intended to distribute presents during Christmas at that time. The beautiful, classic design of the carriage was great for this purpose, perfectly matching the historical architecture of Paris.

We received an original... jewelry box from a Tiffany’s representative. On its basis we had to prepare the right varnish color for the ordered carriage. To help in the project, we invited the company PPG, a reputable American manufacturer of paints and varnishes, whose products we use in the production of horse-drawn carriages for many years. The order was completed within about three months.

For us it was an extraordinary adventure that will forever become part of our history and will be remembered. We only hope that in the way people talk about “Tiffany's quality and style”, soon on the global horse-drawn carriage market they talk about... “Glinkowski’s quality and style”!
